Governing Council

The Governing Council is the central decision – making body of the college.

Composed of members of the Management, a University representative and

senior faculty members. The Governing Council meets once in a year to plan

and evaluate the need of the institution and take necessary action. The

Governing Council ensures that all necessary infrastructure and staff

requirements are fulfilled without undue delay.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY GOVERNING COUNCIL

To plan & carry all the activity as per the Vision, Mission & objective of the college.

To control overall activities of the institution viz., financial, academic and administration.

To approve induction of new courses / programs or closure of existing programs / courses or variation in intake.

To review important communications, policy decisions or any other similar notices received from the University.

To discuss and approve proposals from College Development Committee (CDC) formerly known as Local management Committe (LMC).

To consider introduction of new courses and changes intake for the next academic year.

To review the Memorandum of Understanding between colleges and Industry collaboration proposal. To review the faculty development initiatives and programs.
